Hawaii Volcanoes National Park


Hike through the crater of an active volcano! Taste the sulphur in the air, feel the hot steam rising from the fissures around you. Definitely not to be missed.

Hawi, Kapa ‘Au, and the Pololu Valley Lookout

A wealth of living history! Visit the 1890 vintage H.N. Greenwell Store Museum, and on Thursdays savor the Portuguese Stone Oven Bread Baking. Tour the 1920’s era Kona Coffee Living Farm and see exactly how folks lived there 80 years ago.
